Crocodile Café & Catering Greatest Hits Cooking Class

On 8/8/88, Kurt Linneman opened Crocodile Cafe & Catering in Wayne, Pennsylvania.

Crocodile started out small, but quickly became the largest catering company of its kind by specializing in fresh food, great people, and on-time delivery.

To offer his catering customers more variety, Kurt- and occasionally his team- began to travel all over the globe to see how different foods are prepared in their native homelands. Recent trips include: Jamaica, Croatia, Mexico, Costa Rica, Thailand, the British Isles and Tuscany.

Kurt has now developed over 1000 recipes featuring food from all around the world. But there are three dishes that customers ask for the most… and in this special cooking class, Kurt will reveal the secrets behind three of the dishes that have helped make Crocodile regionally famous.

This cooking class is also VERY special because America’s Best Restaurants is going to be filming the class!  How cool!!!

  1. Avoglemono Soup (aka Greek Lemon Chicken) – creamy chicken bisque studded with orzo, a squeeze of fresh lemon juice, and sea salt.
  2. Pedro’s Pasta Salad- tossed with homemade salsa fresca, cheddar-jack cheese, sweet peppers, roasted corn, black beans and crispy corn chips
  3. Korean Beef Sticks “Bulgogi”- tender flank steak skewered up with Kurt’s Korean BBQ sauce and chargrilled to a crusty succulence. Garnished with toasted sesame seeds and scallions.
